Paradigm Industrial Acquires Vulcan Tool Company

DAYTON, OH (March 2020) — Paradigm Industrial LLC, a custom engineering and manufacturing company, recently purchased Vulcan Tool Company, located in Dayton, Ohio. The company will continue to operate, but will now be backed by Paradigm Industrial’s full-service engineering, machining, fabrication, and maintenance services.

Vulcan Tool Company was founded in 1915 and has a rich history of building custom machines for large scale manufacturing companies. Their most popular products include the patented Shimmy™ Die and Tube Cutting machines. The Shimmy™ Die provides superior speed and accuracy for trimming stamped parts. Vulcan’s Brehm®, Ultimate and Ringmaster tube cutters are known for high-speed cuts that are burr-free and are used in many industries internationally. Vulcan Tool also markets the Vulcanaire spindle attachment to provide high-speed options for existing mills and lathes.

Paradigm Industrial recently completed a large Eyewash/Safety Shower Upgrade project and the plans called for valves that can be locked in the open position. While there are some pretty expensive options for using lockable stainless steel valves, our fabricators came up with this solution. It allows us to save our customer quite a bit on the cost of valves since these locking collars are designed to work with PVC valves. This solution is also very functional and easy to use!
