Dayton Area fabrication shop is looking for a welder/fabricator to join our team. We build complex parts from sheet metal guards to 40,000 lb weldments.

THE ABILITY TO READ BLUEPRINTS, INCLUDING MACHINED PRINTS IS REQUIRED!

Ability to use metal fabrication equipment, including band saws, plasma cutters, etc.

Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude

Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications

Knowledge of industry safety practices

Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and Flux-Core.

Weld carbon steel, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel alloys.

Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes

Blueprint and Welding test given during interview.

4-10 hour day work schedule

Blueprint reading is a must! Ability to hold tight tolerances, operate saws and fabrication equipment.Quality and detail oriented is essential.
Weld test, and blueprint test will be given at time of interview.

Load/Unload CNC plasma table. Deburr and clean cut parts.
Clean shop and perform general house keeping duties.
A clean driving record if preferred, but not required. This job may require you to drive company vehicles if you have the ability to do so.
