Position Overview
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers as well as grow the customer database. Part Sales associates will also maintain sales increases month over month. They will also manage all aspects of business related to sales. Parts Sales associates are the main point of contact between a business and its customers. Parts Sales associates are to ensure customers have the right products and services.
Essential Job Functions
• Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
• Services existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and result reports, such as daily call reports, weekly and monthly work plans
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any all company goals
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new and used products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
Requirements
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet etc.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Must be able to remain friendly and professional while providing excellent customer service.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Meeting sales goals
• Closing skills
• Knowledge of auto parts
• Bilingual is preferred but not required
