We’re seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Precision Packaging & Shipping Specialist to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. This is a true entry-level position with full, comprehensive training provided—no prior experience is necessary. You’ll learn everything you need to succeed directly from our experienced team, including specialized aerospace packaging techniques, compliance procedures, and safe material-handling practices.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our high-precision components reach customers safely and on time—protecting parts that help keep aircraft flying, satellites orbiting, and defense systems strong. No warehouse boredom here!
What You Will Do‼️‼️
• Expertly package and prepare outgoing shipments using specialized materials to prevent damage during storage and transportation.
• Build custom shipping pallets, crates, and protective packaging tailored to aerospace requirements.
• Verify that every shipment matches customer purchase orders (parts, quantity, documentation, and on-time delivery standards).
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and records to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely, secure deliveries.
• Assist with material handling, inventory labeling, and light receiving tasks as needed.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely (OSHA training and certification provided).
• Work closely with our quality and production teams to uphold the highest aerospace standards
What You Will Bring:
• Any previous experience in packaging, shipping, material handling, or warehouse operations is a plus and will be reflected in your starting pay.
• Aerospace, manufacturing, or precision-parts background is especially valued but not necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in protecting high-value, precision-machined parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A clean driving record for company insurance purposes. CDL not required.
• Ability to use technology effectively for documentation and tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in an AS9100D-certified facility
