While I was in Florida my old shipmates on the M/V Sulphur Enterprise reached out to see if I could come by and help change out a cylinder head on the main engine. Was happy to help and it was a fun day getting back to my roots working on ships. After all, engines are made out of steel, am I right?

Bent Columns a problem? Not for us. We were contacted last year by a GC for a local marina who had ended up with a car in their maintenance building. Sheared the anchor bolts and bent the the main center column of the building. We fabricated a new column and installed temporary supports to brace the internal secondary structure. We then lifted the roof beam 3/4 of an inch so that we could take out the old column and slide the new one in place. After attaching the secondary structure to the new column we installed new panels on the outside of the building to make it look like new!
