Aura Fabricators Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of metal fabricated products to various destinations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate company-owned trucks to transport metal fabricated products to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of metal products, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage during transit.
• Work with the Logistics Manager on planning and optimizing delivery routes to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on assigned trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any issues promptly.
• Complete accurate and timely delivery logs, trip reports, or other required documentation. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional communication and representing the company positively.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the transportation of goods, including traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Inspect finished goods in all shipping phases to ensure quality of product is maintained and any product issues are caught as soon as possible.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a truck driver
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to transport
• Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work occasional extended hours if needed
• Must be able to read and understand diagrams and blueprints written in English
• Must be able to accurately read an English tape measure
• Must be able to perform basic math skills including adding and subtracting the English measuring system (including fractions)
• Must be able to pass random drug tests
Preferred Skills:
• Demonstrated understanding of the manufacturing/fabrication industry

• Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally
• Must be able to walk around the facilities

Other Information:
• 46-hour standard work week. However, due to varying logistical needs, flexibility, and willingness to work longer hours as needed, is required.
o Monday-Thursday: 6:00am to 4:30pm
o Friday: 6:00am to 12:00pm
