TRANS-FORMERS Transmission & Auto Repair Specialist has an opening for a Certified Automotive Technician in a 12-bay 14 Lift facility with all the latest equipment, diagnostic tools, and the necessary data programs, such as Alldata, Identifix, ATRA, and ATSG, just to name a few, to complete the job.
Employment Type: Full-Time Automotive Diagnostic, Service, and Repair Technician!
Jobs performed: Drivability, diagnosing, and performing service write-ups of customer vehicles by following all established standards and procedures.
Must be able to service and repair vehicles as diagnosed, must perform test drives after completion of repairs, must maintain a clean workspace, and complete job tasks in a timely manner.
Must have an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record!
Applicants must be able to work productively in order to produce high-quality repairs at a high volume.
Must be familiar with all makes and models of cars and light trucks from 2000 to the present.
Our schedule is 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, 8-12 Saturday as needed.
Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience preferred (dealership or independent Garage). Must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
Certifications: A high school diploma or GED, with at least 5 years of dealership-level or independent repair facility training with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) (ATSG) (ATRA) certifications in different specialized areas such as Transmissions, Brakes, Tune Ups, AC, and Computer Programming and Electrical/Electronic systems, or Engine performance preferred.
Excellent communication skills with, Owner, service managers, and other technicians to complete the necessary repairs, we work as a team!
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
Safety and customer service oriented. Able to lift heavy objects as needed, over 75 lbs. +
Professional appearance and work ethic are a must!
Self-motivated with solid work habits.
