We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Wes Hughes, aka Wes the Welder. He was an unbelievable craftsman and an even better man. Wes successfully ran Wes’s Welding Works and we are honored to have worked alongside him.

This weekend we went to the mountains of Snowshoe WV. It rained all week leading up to this race and even saturday while we were there. I had 1 goal that was to leave with the win before summer break. I got off to the Holeshot had some really fun battles with Baylee. Going into the final lap I had over a minute and a half lead. Somewhere in the first few miles of last lap My front tire popped. I hit a tree and fell hard. Few miles later fell again and then a 3rd time before the lap was over. With those 3 crashes I lost the lead by 16 seconds. Still happy with a 2nd going into summer break. 3 rounds to go come September and October 😁.

A blast from the past. Thinking back to our roots and how fortunate we are to have had such a great community. Our founder, Carlo Fusini, opened up Berkshire Bridge in 1964 with the hope of being the largest structural steel contractor in Western Mass. His legacy lives on through the shop and all who work in it
