Fargo Consultants, Inc. is a DFW based Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) company established in 1999. We are currently seeking a Business Development professional to focus on pursuing public sector jobs. This is a position in a growing organization with the opportunity to significantly contribute to the continued success and diversification of our services.
Qualifications:
Business development experience in the construction field
Creative thinker, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. High degree of independence that requires the ability to develop and implement strategies with minimal oversight.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
Researching bid sources to explore new client relationships and bid opportunities
Contacting government and city entities
Manage and grow existing client relationships
Coordinating preparation of proposals and bids
Preferences:
Construction related background
Existing relationships and knowledge of municipal policies and procedures are strongly preferred
