Cardinal Metals is a general line steel warehouse/ distributor, established in 1979. We have a CNC plasma system, Precision Saw Cutting, In house CAD/CAM system, and Plasma/flame plate burning.

📏 Steel 101: Sheet, plate, and bar all come off the mill, but they're sized differently.

🔹 SHEET — thin, flat stock, measured in gauge.
🔹 PLATE — thicker flat stock, generally 3/16" and up, measured in inches.
🔹 BAR — solid round, square, or flat stock for shafts, pins, and machined parts.
