ATTENTION:
Due to issues with the transferring of this page, and the unsuccessfulness of FB to help us fix the issue, we have had to make the choice to go ahead and start a new page for DC Summer Ball. All of the posts from this year have been transferred to that page.There will be no more posts to this page!

Reminder: Registration forms are due by Feb. 24th, that is only 1 week away. Over the following week, we will start to put forms together, then we will look at numbers and begin the process of putting teams together. If your form will not make it in time, or you still need a form for your child/children, please reach out and let us know. That will help us with knowing more accurate numbers for teams and what we still need.

We have had a few kids ask about playing up, and we ask that you circle the age group they should be in by what grade they are in now, and then please write a note on the side of the form as to why you want them to be moved up and it will be taken into consideration.
Please remember that the league we are a part of is set up by grade, so that's where we need to start. Also, our goal is to have the most kids play as possible! We will do our best to put kids where they want to be as long as it isn't going to prevent other kids from getting to play.

We are looking forward to this season and filling the fields with kids making memories!!

We have something new this season! At the beginning of March, we will be starting a Hat and Visor Fundraiser, where part of the cost of each hat/visor will come back to the program!! You will be able to add a ⚾️🥎🏀🏈🏐 to the sides of the visor for a small additional fee per ball. Hats will be the same as last years designs, you can choose either baseball or softball.

If you haven’t ordered your Fan tshirts yet, you still have time, as we will be continuing that fundraiser thru the month of March as well!!

Remember to get your registration forms in by February 24. If your child did not bring one home from the school, you can contact us and we can either get you one mailed out or you can sign up next week at in-person registration at the ball field. (Date and time will be posted later this week)

As registration forms begin to come in, we would like to remind you that the back of the registration form has a Fan T-shirt order form. This is one of the fundraisers for this season. A portion of the amount of each shirt ordered will go towards the program.

NOTE: You can order the shirt in red or sports gray. This is not on the form, so please specify by writing that next to the amount.(designs will be the same as jersey logos on a gildan tshirt, see logo pictures)

We will also be doing a hat/visor fundraising order, hopefully at the beginning of March.

Participation in these fundraisers, as well as our raffle fundraiser, during the season is what will keep our goal of no child pays to play going in future seasons. We appreciate your help in keeping this goal successful for years to come!

We would like to thank everyone for the help and support with DC Summer Ball organization. The organization was able to accomplish getting new dirt for the field, some new equipment, tiling the front field. We really appreciate the parents and communitys for everything they have done and have offered to do. We could not have done it without everybody. Be on the look out as the new coordinators will have some good information to come. The new coordinators will be Brianne and Bob Hanshaw and Brent and Becca Hartley.

These boys had a good season. Each and everyone of them improved. We may have lost the 1st game but they came back and played a double header on Wednesday and came back tonight just coming up a little short but never gave up. D.C. machine pitch took 4th in the tournament We are proud of you all. We want to thank each and every parent grandparent aunt uncle who helped and supported the boys. We want to wish the D.C.Girls Softball team good luck next week. If you are bored and looking for something to do they will be in LaHarpe so you can go out and support them. We will get there brackets up

A BIG thanks to all the teams that came out today and supported our summer ball program by having a team in our Coed Softball Tournament . We had 6 teams this year. Our Champions were Melton's Auto. 2nd Place were the Swingers. And 3rd place was Breakfast Pizza. Thanks to all the teams for their patience and great day of softball. It's that time of year again. The ball season is coming or has came to an end, so it is time for the adults to have fun :) Mark your calendars and get your teams together, Dallas City Summer Ball is having its 2nd Annual Coed Slow Pitch Softball Tournament. Saturday, August 6th. Registration will be from 8-9 AM (preregistration recommended) with playing to begin at 9 AM. Concessions will be available all day.
