"Unfortunately, I believe you guys may have left before this showed up! This car is extremely amazing and it was found one hour from Carlisle and brought straight to the show on Saturday! The long and short story is the grandfather bought it for his son in 1968. His son was young and just got his license and was terrorizing the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the grandfather was a trooper and immediately came home to tell his son to knock it off, and his son had just put drag slicks on the car. He asked him what he was doing and his son said I’m really gonna clean house now. He said no you’re not. He took the car and put it on a third floor of a Packard storage building with wood floors. This car has been sitting there since 1968. It still has a 1968 Registration sticker on it.!! It’s amazing!!!! The guy that purchased it that I spoke with had known about it for five years and the estate was just recently settled as the father not the grandfather died first and then the grandfather gave it to the fathers daughter/his granddaughter. It’s supposedly sold for $115,000. a guy came up and told him I don’t care what you just paid and I don’t know what you just paid, but I’ll pay you double this was on Saturday at Carlisle.!!!" 1968 Hemi GTX
