Full moon has the gators out and angry! Broke my personal best with this 45.5” stud of a musky, two casts after Cousin Dom popped a 41.5”. Put down the fly pole and the chicken feathers and picked up the right tool for the job, which is usually the best idea, in both knives and fishing. A blissful end to a tough summer fishing x hunting trip!

Almost .300” at the spine, convex ground blade down to a zero edge, micro bevel then stropped. It could shave yer beard, then go through a truck door. Makes easy work of a sheet of ULINE magazine. Sharpened clip too. It’s sharp, stout, and radiates confidence in hand. It’s how I do it. Not your flat ground letter opener here…

Sometimes an idea can’t wait. Elk Coffin Bowie, plum brown dumbbell guard (heard many names for this shape). I love this darned thing. It was stupid challenging fitting the elk, all while keeping a clean plum brown finish on the guard.
