President, Phil Isaac & CEO, Rick Gable Open New Office in Cuyahoga Falls
Gable Elevator is proud to be part of the Cuyahoga Falls community. Our new office building is home to our 50 employees. Gable Elevator moved in to their new building earlier this year and all operations are now out of this office. Gable Elevator also has an office outside of Columbus in Gahanna, Ohio.
Phil and Rick are cousins and started the business together back in 1991. Back in the Early 90’s Rick worked for his Dad, Richard Gable Senior, who was a pharmacist. They owned Gable Pharmacy on Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Gable Pharmacy sold durable medical equipment. Selling durable medical equipment lead to Rick’s idea to start selling home stairlifts, verticle wheel chair lifts and residential elevators. Thus, Gable Elevators was born.
Over the years, Gable Elevator evolved and began installing, servicing and modernizing commercial elevators as well as residential equipment. Recently, Gable Elevator spun off the residential elevator business which is now called Ohio Elevator and Lift and is owned by Rick and Phils children.
