Install of a brand new ComfoQ ventilation system with heat recovery (hrv) from Zehnder in a Los Angeles passive house.

It is the lunge of the house filtering the incoming air (MERV 13 + carbon filter), providing fresh air to the bedrooms and living rooms and extracting air from the bathroom and kitchen. Prior to sending the stale air out a heat exchanger captures the inside temperature of the house and transfers it to the incoming air - air streams never mix - 100% fresh air in and stale air out 24 hours a day. Super efficient.
