Tonight! (Monday, Oct 12) We will be having movie night at the Jackson County Rec Center in Cullowhee at 7:30PM. Bring your own float (or borrow one of ours) and enjoy a family-friendly movie while floating in the rec pool or on the pool deck. Admission is included with your membership or day pass.
A few rules and things to note:
-You may watch the movie while floating in the pool or from the pool deck. When the lights go off, everyone in the water must remain in their floats and quiet. This is for safety reasons and also so everyone can see and hear the film. People who can't follow this rule will be asked to leave.
-The pool temperature is 86 degrees, which can feel cold to certain people, especially while remaining still. If you tend to get cold, we recommend watching the movie from the pool deck. You can also bring your own lounger/float that gets you completely out of the water.
-The 50 person limit is due to the number of floats we own. You can guarantee your spot at this event by bringing your own float, otherwise admission is at a first-come basis.
-Please don't eat or drink while in the pool. You may have snacks and drinks on the pool deck at the chairs and tables.
-If you need to leave early, please try to do so quietly so those around you can enjoy the movie (just like in the theaters!)

Hope to see you tonight at the pool!
