We were honored to welcome the NCAA Men's Final Four Fan Jam to the Connor Sports manufacturing mill in Crystal Falls, Michigan, where the craftsmanship behind some of the game's most iconic courts comes to life.

This visit was more than a stop on a statewide tour. It was an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the employees whose hard work, precision, and dedication ensure every Connor Sports floor is built to the highest standards of performance, safety, and quality.

From our mill in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to championship venues across the country, our team takes tremendous pride in supporting student athletes and the game of basketball at every level.

The excitement is already building for the 2027 NCAA Men's Final Four in Detroit, and as a Michigan based company, we are proud to be part of the journey leading up to basketball's biggest weekend.

The NCAA Men's Final Four Fan Jam made a special stop at the Connor Sports manufacturing mill in Crystal Falls, Michigan and it was an incredible opportunity to celebrate the people behind the game.

From the maple selection process to assembling the panels used for the March Madness Men's Basketball and March Madness Women's Basketball tournaments, our employees put in the work every single day to ensure every Connor Sports floor is built to the highest standards for each NCAA Women's Final Four and NCAA Men's Final Four tournament court across the country.

Events like this are a chance to give back to the team members whose craftsmanship, dedication, and attention to detail make March Madness possible.

There is already plenty of excitement building for the 2027 NCAA Men's Final Four in our home state, held in Detroit, MI. We are proud to continue delivering championship level performance from the Upper Peninsula to the biggest stage in college basketball.

Maple hardwood sports floors are helping tell an important sustainability story.

Many people do not realize that carbon remains stored in wood products for the life of the product. Whether it becomes a board, a desk, or a sports floor, wood can continue storing carbon while also connecting people to the value of sustainable forestry and responsible manufacturing.

In 2024–2025, the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association and its member mills invested in sustainability by building environmental literacy, supporting education around carbon storage and sequestration, collaborating with sports sustainability networks, and creating K–12 STEM lesson plans focused on forestry, the carbon cycle, and sustainable wood products.

Basketball floors provide a unique opportunity to help the public understand the connection between wood in sports and wood in the built environment.

Wood products can help bridge sport, sustainability, and the built environment.

Connor Sports is proud to be part of the new StarCenter, a 225,000-square-foot athletic facility developed by the Dallas Stars and the Town of Northlake.

Our team provided 81,000 sq. ft. of Rezillbase RP 111 with 2nd and Better Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association maple, helping create a high-performance hardwood surface built for basketball, volleyball, training, competition, and everyday community use; expertly installed by the team at QHF Sports!

From youth athletes to elite-level competition, this facility is built to support the next generation of players.
