As we celebrate 40 years of Crete Lumber & Farm Supply, we’re looking back at the people and stories that helped shape the business.

Founders Ron and Terry Dittmer have seen a lot change over four decades—from the products on the shelves to the customers and projects that come through the door. But one thing Terry said during a recent anniversary celebration seems to capture the experience pretty well:

“I can’t believe it’s gone so fast. No two days are the same.”

That’s a lot of days, a lot of projects, and a lot of stories since 1986.
