Progressive MEP + Structural Engineering firm located in Golden and Crested Butte is seeking a professionally registered electrical engineer. We engineer buildings and renewable energy systems across the country and internationally with a focus on efficient design, energy conservation and Net Zero Energy projects. We are looking for:
Electrical P.E. with experience in the design and development of power and lighting systems for buildings (residential and commercial), emergency power and micro-grid systems, renewable energy systems, and energy storage systems through the full development lifecycle – from planning with clients/utilities through construction administration.
Must have
• Good communication skills (speaking, meetings, writing)
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage schedule and deadlines
• Ability to work well on an interdisciplinary team
Desired
• Experience and fluency with Revit
• P.E. Licensure
• Hands-on construction experience (in any role) and/or electrical installation
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC)
• Experience with the following is a plus: NFPA Life Safety Code, International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), lighting design for residential and commercial, mechanical and plumbing systems, renewable energy systems.
Position is based in Golden or Crested Butte with opportunity to work in either location as well as time spent working remotely.
