Love how this place we engineered turned out!

This recently completed project holds deep roots in Crested Butte. Originally opened as a motel in the 1970s by the Rozman family, the property has long been a part of the town’s story.

Now reimagined as Academy Place—a collection of thoughtfully designed residences centered around shared gardens and gathering spaces—this project blends history with a fresh, modern vision for mountain living.

We were honored to help bring it back to life—preserving meaningful pieces of its legacy while crafting a new chapter through modern mountain design and enduring craftsmanship.

Building in this valley means more when it’s personal.
