So I needed an upgrade. The first attempt at a hydraulic metal mover using the spreader worked but didn't have the oomph I was looking for. It was only rated for 2000 lbs of force. This ram is rated for 10 tons. I added a pneumatic foot control for hands free use. Lets me use both hands to position things. Its a bit heavier but will get the job done. The goal is to as efficiently fabricate Dock Springs with as much consistency as possible. This will help.

This last week or so has been awesome! I figured out how to get a load to Ontario and help a dock builder, Voyage Docks, get his hands on some dock springs. If you are north of our border and need some, give Henry a call. A few days later, we are now at the southern most tip of our country, the Florida Keys. Thank you for your orders. The map is filling up from orders to dock owners who have figured out how to strengthen their anchor systems.

With an order this week to a dock owner in Oklahoma, we now have served dock owners in 20 states. The docksprings.com website gets about 150 hits daily as dock owners look for the solution for keeping cables and anchors intact. Dock Springs cable load dampers are the answer.

I just did a count and I am at 98 sets of springs shipped so far. I promised the first 100 would leave here with free shipping. That means I have 2 more sets available with free shipping.

Shipping costs have run me an average of $75 to get them to most places in the lower 48... except California. California was $132. Why? Because its California.

If you go to your local UPS store, they will charge you about $135 to send them to most places. I found a shipping app that works with the Dock Springs web store that just about cuts that in half. I usually pay about a dollar per pound to ship them. Amazon may have a better shipping option. I'm still sorting that out.

WooHoo!!! We now are on Amazon... Took some doing and had to jump through a lot of hoops but here we are! Search for dock cable dampeners or dock springs and we are on the first page.
