Who we are: Family-owned community hardware store located in Downtown Covington providing general hardware, plumbing, electrical, and painting supplies as well as lawn and garden tools.
What we offer:
*Hourly pay starting at $14.00
*On-the-job skill training (You will immediately start learning tips and tricks for many home repair jobs, not to mention general knowledge of numerous trades such as plumbing, electrical, and construction).
*Ability to develop sales skills
*Potential to advance into a salary position and/or learn the logistical aspects of business management after a period of demonstrated commitment and capability

Who we are looking for:
*Hardworking and reliable: while previous hardware or customer service experience is always a plus, we value the ability to learn quickly, show up on time, and work hard over your past work experience.
*Ability to work full-time: We are searching for someone available to work from about 7 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability.
*Your own reliable transportation to and from work
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly (many items regularly exceed 100lbs)
What youโll do:
*Greet customers and assist with their shopping or project needs
*Ring customers up at the cash register
*Assist in taking stock and restocking items upon delivery
*Perform general cleaning, organizing, and tidying duties (even though itโs hardware, we like to keep a clean store and all of us take part)
