Job Title: Industrial Painter (Structural Steel & Coatings Specialist)
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter with a strong background in structural steel, vessels, tanks, and heavy industrial coatings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying zinc-based primers and multi-coat systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in demanding industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for coating through abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning, or chemical preparation
- Apply industrial coatings including zinc-rich primers, epoxies, and urethanes
- Execute multi-coat systems to required thickness and quality standards
- Work on structural steel, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and related equipment
- Read and interpret coating specifications, blueprints, and technical data sheets
- Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and hazardous material handling

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial painting experience (structural steel, tanks, or vessels preferred)
- Proven experience with zinc coatings and multi-coat systems
- Familiarity with surface prep standards (SSPC/NACE preferred)
- Ability to use spray equipment (airless, conventional, plural component a plus)
- Strong understanding of coating thickness requirements (mil gauges, etc.)
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred Certifications (not required):
- SSPC or NACE certification
- OSHA safety training

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working outdoors and in industrial settings

CNC programmer requires (1) of the following qualifications:
1. A degree or graduate certificate from a reputable college or technical facility, in a revalant field.
2. A minimum of (1) years work experience related to CNC programming.
3. A minimum of (2) years work experience working as a CNC laser or pressbrake operator, with knowledge of programming live on machines.
Qualifications:
1. Must be able to process/understand information provided by blue print drawings and convert for data entry, using standard and metric measurements.
2. Must have adequate knowledge/training in AutoCAD software.
3. Must have work experience in Microsoft Office.
4. Must have work experience in ProNest Software.
Responsibilities:

1. Certified AutoCAD Training (or) a minimum of (3) years related work experience
2. Experience in detailing shop and er****on drawings
3. Experience in steel ductwork, structural steel, and misc. steel detailing
4. Knowledge of pertinent code requirements and specifications
5. Knowledge of applicable material specifications and mill rolling practices
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
7. Knowledge of transition/elbow/reducer layouts is preferred
Responsibilities:
The Detailer will have the following responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
1. Detail shop and er****on drawings
2. Fill out BOM for all shop and er****on drawings
3. Scrub all checked drawings
4. Fill out Field Bolt List
5. Supply Project Manager with any information or details on RFI’s throughout the detailing process
6. Collaborate with Project Manager, and QC on a daily basis to resolve any issues
7. Ensure all drawings are in conformance with company policies and objectives
8. Attend weekly production meeting with designated shop personnel and QC as required

Physical Requirements:
1. Light to moderate lifting is required.
2. Regular, predictable attendance is required
3. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard, reach, stoop, and kneel to install computer equipment.
