What a Fabulous Friday it is, it was a great day to deliver these reproduction French ogee doors -the final touch! on an amazing project that we were blessed to be on, “The Whit” hotel - which has been undergoing an intense restoration under the guidance of and ex*****on by We are excited to see this one near completion….if you are heading down pyrtania check out the doors, windows and the unbelievable fluted Corinthian column that our leader Tom fabricated! It’s the one, front elevation, all the way on the end of the porch on the right!!!

Another set of fancy windows leaving the shop! These adorable casement windows are the finishing touch to curb appeal remodel in Mandeville! We updated the home’s front elevation with new windows, shutters and side entry door. Will post finished photos soon, but here is a peak at what beautiful windows can do!

So we are a millshop, and naturally post our millwork- But sometimes we need to acknowledge that millwork without hardware is a bit dull…. So here ….albeit simple…is our thanks to some beautiful hardware! Featuring unlacquered polished brass stretto sets from Emtek, with our favorite Merrimack handles and paired with beautiful unlacquered *offset surface bolts from Deltana for these 9’ tall outswing French doors! 🚪

Friday!!! We completed this incredible piece this week! Led by our craftsman John, it took 3 craftsmen to complete in a weeks time! Jarod knocked out the hand carvings on the plaques, Tom turned and reeded the half columns and John did the layout, ran all the mouldings, fitted and assembled the entire piece! Cheers to teamwork and the weekend!!!

Just in time for Christmas! We didn’t think we would be able to pull this one off in time, it is deceiving because although it is a simple design it is white oak! White oak and 2 1/4 inch thick with the added bonus of it being a true ellipse! Any of our fellow millworkers on here know the pain 😆 This photo does the unit no justice!

So much custom millwork happening in this room!!! Hand scrolled custom designed hip jacks, custom half round French doors, historic profiled pilasters, true divided light transomed windows…. To think, we get to make all of the components that make up such a beautiful place! God is good and we can’t wait to add the final hardware details to this space!
