We often post pictures of our most impressive fabrication projects in process or being delivered. We have a very talented fabrication team and they very much deserve the accolades. However, we also have a very gifted and dedicated CAD staff doing very demanding day-to-day work behind the scenes whose work cannot be shared because it’s confined to digital databases and paper drawings protected under confidentiality agreements and NDAs. This week we honor the efforts of Barry and Brian Campbell who, over the years together, have established and maintain two of our largest on-going accounts with two of our main customers. For years Barry did the hard work of walking down and updating all of the Flow Sheets and P&IDs for a major chemical processing client. Today he continues to support that effort on a part-time basis updating drawings in CAD while Brian does the field work, shares in the CAD work and manages the projects as well. Supported by our dedicated CAD department, Brian also serves another client by maintaining their Lockout/Tagout documentation site-wide. While their work may not seem quite as “sexy” as some of the fab projects in our shop, their work is the bread and butter of our company and I.D.S. would not exist without their efforts. Maintaining two on-going accounts successfully for over twenty-five years is an accomplishment not too common in today’s business world. Well done guys!
