We are currently seeking a motivated individual for a Drafting/AutoCAD position in Corvallis. This individual must be highly skilled and proficient in AutoCAD with at least 1-year experience. Working knowledge of welding is a plus. Drafting experience preferred, not required. THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of floor plans
• Assist with the completion of drawings red-lined by Managers and Sales Staff
• Occasionally assist with carrying out site surveys on an as needed basis
• Follow instructions of managers accurately with efficiency
• Utilize AutoCAD and other programs to develop lay out and diagrams with attention to specification details
• Create drawings for industry specific projects based on preliminary sketches, concepts and data
Qualifications
• Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations and specifications
• Must be comfortable in a support role and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask and produce accurate work
• Willing to be tested for AutoCAD skills on Microsoft version 2010 or above at the time of the interview
• Must possess strong time management skills and the ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication (written and oral)
• Well organized, with attention to detail is required
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Complying with company safety procedures/rules and OSHA rules
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours with the possibility of overtime
Pay is DOE. Vacation, Sick Pay and Holiday Pay after 90-day probation period.
