We are incredibly honored to be nominated for the 2026 Innovation Award by the The Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce and Huntington National Bank.

To be recognized alongside other innovative businesses in our region is something we do not take lightly. At SLH Metals, Inc., innovation has always meant finding better ways to serve our customers, invest in technology, support our employees, and continue growing while staying true to the small-town values this company was built on over 60 years ago.

This nomination belongs to our entire team. The people on the shop floor, in the office, behind the machines, and out in the community every single day making things happen. Thank you to our customers, community, and the Chamber for this recognition. We are proud to represent manufacturing and fabrication in Shiawassee County.

NOW HIRING: Summer Seasonal Help ☀️

Starting in June, SLH Metals is looking for summer help — preferably a recent graduate interested in learning the skilled trades and gaining hands-on experience inside a fabrication shop.

Applicants must be 18 years or older.

We’re looking for someone dependable, willing to learn, and not afraid to start at the ground level. This position may include sweeping floors, emptying trash, organizing materials, job shadowing different departments, and filling in wherever help is needed. Around here, every job matters.

If you’re hardworking, motivated, and interested in seeing what the manufacturing and fabrication world is all about, we’d love to hear from you.
