Since 1978, Hose of South Texas has been serving the Oilfield, Petrochemical, Heavy Construction, Food Production, Government and Marine Industries since 1978 by supplying a complete line of hose and hose related products. We are a Proud Member of NAHAD (The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution). Our Mission here at Hose of South Texas is to provide quality products that meet or excee

d the expected standards of industry and our customers. With our in–house welding shop we are able to supply welded stainless steel flexhose quickly. We serve businesses throughout Texas as well as the rest of the United States. Our years of experience enable us to assist our customers in solving their hose related problems. We also have the capability to supply petroleum, water, and up to 500’ air hose assemblies with 2” and 3” inner diameter. In addition to our hose and accessory lines we also stock a variety of valves, gauges, expansion joints, swivel joints, lubricants, sealants, adhesives, and safety items. Hose of South Texas was founded in 1978 by Kermit Batey and Norman Glasson who believed that customer service, delivery and having a good inventory are key elements to a successful business. This philosophy is still the core of Hose of South Texas today.

We received a call from Mr. Brett Venters and wanted to share the outstanding feedback he gave our team.

Mr. Venters visited the store on February 9th with a hydraulic issue on his John Deere that the John Deere facility could not resolve. He was extremely appreciative of the exceptional support he received in the hydraulic shop. He specifically mentioned Art R., Jessica, and Robert E./Rene V.(hydraulic shop). He praised their professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to go above and beyond to get his tractor running so he could finish his crop work on time.

At Hose of South Texas, Powered by TIPCO, learning never stops. Our team recently took part in gasket training with a focus on TIPCO Sealing Technologies, covering gasket and sealing solutions for a wide range of applications. From design and engineering support to advanced custom cutting and repair capabilities, the training highlighted how we replicate and produce parts from customer drawings, CAD files, or existing samples.

With capabilities like laser cutting, water jet cutting, die cutting, lathe cutting, and more, we are better equipped to help customers solve sealing challenges and keep operations moving.

What a night on the coast! Hose of South Texas, Powered by Tipco, was proud to support and attend the Saltwater Fisheries Enhancement Association (SEA) Banquet last week. Celebrating 25 years of conservation, education, and community impact across the Texas Coastal Bend.

Highlights:
• Great conversations with fellow conservation champions and local leaders
• Inspiring stories about SEA’s work in habitat restoration, artificial reefs (including the “Kinta S” freighter), youth development and supporting our game wardens and marine science research.
• A vibrant gathering that underscored the strength of grassroots support and what we can accomplish when we come together for place and purpose
