Munoz Engineering (ME) and LWA Architects worked alongside with San Diego ISD in San Diego, Texas to provide Civil and Structural Engineering services for various SDISD projects which included:
• Civil and Structural design of a new covered sports court and new AG Barn Facility at Bernarda Jamie Jr. High.
• Civil design of a new crosswalk location at Collins Parr Elementary School due to flooding issues during storm events at the existing crosswalk locations.
• Civil design for the sports Field House and drainage improvements to the sports fields at San Diego High School.
• Civil design for the new parking lot for the SDISD Transpiration Facility.

Munoz Engineering provided Civil and Structural design services for the new "Bayview Crossing" Retail Center development located in Portland, Texas. The structural design consisted of open web bar joists bearing on structural steel framing supported on a slab-on-grade foundation. Civil provided design for the parking lot layout, wastewater, water, and stormwater utility design as well as coordination with TxDot for approval and permitting of the driveways.

Munoz team members worked together to compete at the 2023 Toughest Scout Challenge at Camp Karankawa. The experience was a valuable opportunity for the team members to develop their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
