🌧️🐴 Pony Camp 2026 was a HUGE success! 🐴🌞
We somehow managed to dodge the rain all 3 days and packed the week full of horsey fun, learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories! From riding and games to pony care and teamwork, it was such an amazing experience watching all of our campers grow in confidence each day. 💕🐎

A HUGE shoutout goes to my incredible helpers — all members of Sandy Creek Pony Club ❤️

Over the years, I’ve watched these girls grow from young riders into confident, capable, independent leaders. They worked so hard throughout camp helping younger riders, caring for horses, keeping things organized, and stepping up wherever needed without hesitation. Their leadership skills, responsibility, kindness, and horsemanship truly shined this week.

They are becoming wonderful horse ladies, and I could not be more proud of them. 🐴✨

Thank you to all of our camp families for trusting us with your kids and ponies this week — we already can’t wait for the next one! 💖🤠

What a way to finish the week ✨

It’s been a long road for Howie and his owner—one built on patience, consistency, and a real commitment to doing things the right way.

Together, they’ve worked through challenges with leading, bridling, saddling, and anxiety, taking the time to establish clear boundaries, improve communication, and build true confidence on both sides.

Today, everything just clicked.
For the first time in a while, his owner hopped on—and Howie was an absolute gentleman. A big, meaningful step forward and a moment well earned. Well done to this team 👏

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Bandera to the barn! He’s a Bluebonnet rescue pony joining us as part of the Bluebonnet Horse Expo & Rescue Horse Training Challenge

His first day started with helping him “look the part” (and feel his best) with a well-deserved bath 🛁
