Chris's dream began when he thought how wonderful it would be if someone would devise a rack which could be attached to the bedrails of the truck and be removed if needed. That grew out of his frustration at having a heavy rack on his truck which (1) weighed a lot (2) was difficult to remove and (3) almost impossible to store when removed. Over the next couple of years, he devised racks that coul
d be shipped in pieces, put together easily and attached to a truck with a clamp that goes onto the bedrails. In the beginning most of the racks were small racks for carrying canoes and kayaks and perhaps some wood. Rack has evolved into producing heavy duty truck racks that can carry up to 2200 lbs. Through the years, not one of our racks has failed and broken or come apart. Rack been sued because of the failure of a rack. Our reputation is excellent. Our emphasis on customer service is outstanding. We are MADE IN THE USA and proud of it!
