Do you know what the true rate of your coil spring is?
We offer testing of coil springs to find out what the true rate of your spring is under dynamic load. Knowing what you truly have is one of the key factors in determining and extracting all the performance out of your racecar! Plus it will show if your spring is good or bad as well. Along with how much load it can take till it starts to coilbind.
The video and picture of a graph here is of a 600cc 8” spring a 125lb and 115lb spring. There true spring rate of each is 129 and 118. The 118 spring starts to coil bind at 2” of travel and gets progressively stiffer.
The cost to test a spring is $10 per spring.
