It was a beautiful day for golf Saturday morning at Hillandale Country Club for our Geartek golf tournament! Thank you to Hillandale and Meme's Kitchen for making our tournament a success! We had a lot of fun "playing" golf and finished the morning with a hot lunch from Meme's Kitchen and prizes for the winners. Geartek is in need of a plant/product engineer. Primary responsibilities include product development and support with the sales engineers; troubleshooting and plant improvement with the plant manager; tooling/fixture design and improvement; main point of contact for technical reference and product specifications; and other technical duties as required.

Experience with CNC machines, tooling, fixturing is a plus, and any experience in the hydraulic industry would be highly beneficial. CAD experience is required. A degree in mechanical engineering is preferred, but qualified candidates with industrial technology degree or similar will be considered.

Job benefits include retirement plan and company paid health insurance.

Valid driver’s license required. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

We were happy to host Ms. Rebecca Lewis (Careercoachlewis) and Ms. Taylor Johnson (Career Coach Johnson) from the Alcorn County School district career coaching network this week. We saw FIRST HAND the impact great teachers can have on their students for the rest of their lives. We are happy to have several of Ms. Lewis' alumni working for us.
