The Association for the Health Care Environment website describes this week as “a time to show appreciation for the dedicated EVS personnel that ensure health care facilities across the country are clean, safe places for patients, their families and other staff members.”

As our fellow Kentuckians in flood-ravaged areas begin the long and difficult process of rebuilding, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies, especially to all of those who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy.

The images coming out of eastern Kentucky right now are truly heartbreaking, but we know that the people of this region are resilient, and as the waters recede, your strength and determination will be on full display.

For many, many years we have enjoyed partnering with the businesses, schools and medical facilities that can be found in some of the areas hit hardest by the historic flooding in recent days. To witness the devastation in those communities has been very difficult for us all, and we want you to know that we are praying for each and every one of you.
