DAY SHIFT & NIGHT SHIFT BINDERY OPERATORS -

If you’re the Bindery Operator we are looking for you’ll love staying busy, multi-tasking and solving problems. You are respectful, honest and love working with a team. Others would describe you as trustworthy, professional, friendly, and punctual. You’ll thrive in this position if you:

• Love helping in any area wherever there is the greatest need.
• Has a lot of energy and likes to stay busy.

In this role, your primary responsibilities include: -
• Run and Operator bindery equipment within estimated production speeds.
• Coach and direct helpers that are assisting on equipment.

You have the following skills and experience: -
• 3-5 years of experience working in a bindery with the ability to set up and run bindery equipment.
• Good Communication skills: Listening, verbal and written skills
• Great at following processes and procedures.
• A keen eye for detail and quality assurance.

Compensation will range from $22.00 + per hour depending on your qualifications. Day shift work hours are 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday, Night shift is 4:00 pm – 2:00 am. Friday’s we work overtime in the busy season.

We are excited to announce that GFS has invested in a brand-new Horizon CRA-36 Auto Creaser for scoring covers on stocks that crack for Perfect Binding. The Horizon CRA-36 creaser helps to prepare high quality perfect bound book covers right in house making it more efficient and convenient for our customers. This machine will allow us to continue to make the outsourcing of our High-Quality bindery services as simple and seamless as possible.

Girl Scout Troop 18496 were in for a tour last week learning all about the art of book binding to earn a new badge.

Not only did they bring us cookies to eat but they sent us a very thoughtful gift to say Thank you. Truth is....It was our pleasure!
