Job Title: Entry-Level Hydraulic Shop Technician
Location: Conroe, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Hydraulic Shop Technician to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in the hydraulic systems field. The technician will assist with the repair, maintenance, and testing of hydraulic components and systems in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. No prior experience is necessary, but a passion for mechanical work and a willingness to learn is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of hydraulic components, including pumps, motors.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of hydraulic systems under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Assist in the installation and removal of hydraulic systems and components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Test hydraulic components and systems to ensure functionality and performance.
• Record and document all repairs, maintenance, and test results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate effectively with senior technicians and shop supervisors to discuss ongoing projects and issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and standards while working in the shop environment.
• Participate in training programs to improve technical skills and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (some post-secondary education or training in mechanics, hydraulics, or a related field is a plus).
• Strong interest in mechanical work and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy components as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
• Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, or hydraulic repair shop.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic theory and terminology.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
