Member of Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International We’ve been married since 2008, and CLP began in 2010! We each have different areas of expertise, both pertaining to the art of portraiture, that allow us to work together to create timeless, yet unique portraits. I’m more of an artist than anything else. I love designing new prop sets, sketching out ideas, and bringing portraits to life with various editing techniques. John on the other hand, is amazing when it comes to technology! He knows the specs of any Canon available on the market (seriously, send him a question…) and chooses all of the equipment, lenses, lights, reflectors, computers and editing software we have. I really would be lost without him! I adore creating art with color and light. Client galleries are a variety of work tailored to their preferences and edited to my style. I love working with rich colors, dramatic light, interesting angles, and spontaneity in posing. That is how I would describe my outdoor work: full of energy. What I am best known for however is indoors; the little ones. Sweet sleepy newborns and angelic babies. Soft skin and bright sparkling eyes. I enjoy capturing the distinct personality of each subject no matter how young, and I especially love watching how fast these little ones grow throughout their first year! We are constantly attending seminars and workshops to improve our craft and maintain a high level of award-winning photographic quality. We also strive to ensure that our work is constantly changing and always getting better.
