Speed and portability are the hallmark of the patented Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger System. This machine can easily fill 12, 40 lb. The Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger is designed to mount to any vehicle with a 2" receiver hitch, making it easy to transport on-site and between affected areas. The Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger System can also be used as a free standing machine with the addition of the optional free stan
ding legs, making it even more portable. Once the Quick-Fill ™ Sandbagger System has sand loaded into its hopper, sandbag load times are only 3-seconds per bag. With just a quick lift of the lever, a rotating drum, that always measures out the same weight, funnels sand into alternating chutes. This design allows one worker to be closing a sandbag while the other bag is filling on the opposite side. Since the Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger System fills each bag with equal amounts of sand, the bags are equal in size making more effective, secure walls. The Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger System is 100% green. It requires no outside power or fuel. With the machine filling the bags, there is less worker fatigue than if you were filling each bag by hand which makes this machine a much safer method. This allows more workers to be on the front lines building the wall. The Quick-Fill™ Sandbagging system is an efficient and affordable sand bagging solution. The Quick-Fill™ Sandbagger System started as the design of multi-patented inventor Dick Schaefer. For the past 28 years, Dick and his wife Lyn, have resided along the Platte River in Colorado. With the serenity and beauty of rural living this close to the water comes the potential for dangerous flooding. Over the years, Lyn and Dick have experienced several close calls where the rising waters could quickly become a devastating flood within a matter of hours. After years and years of stressful flooding creeping towards their home, Dick saw a great need for a way to rapidly fill sandbags in case of an emergency so he began his research. He searched and searched for a simple, reliable, inexpensive way to efficiently fill sandbags to protect their home. After countless hours of research, he realized that there was a void in the market so he took matters into his own hands. After several prototypes, the final version in its rawest form was forced into action in September of 2013, during the devastating floods in Colorado. With rapidly rising waters knocking at their door, it was now or never to put his invention to the test. In just over an hour, with the help of a few family members and friends, they were able to fill hundreds of sandbags saving their homes from the catastrophic waters. Since the flood, Dick has worked to improve his invention and has developed his current, patented model of the Quick-Fill ™ Sandbagger System, making it safer and more efficient.
