Parts Manager – American Marine
Location: Commack, NY
Company: American Marine – Est. 1972
American Marine is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Parts Manager to oversee our growing marine parts department. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Long Island’s leading marine dealerships and service centers.
Responsibilities
* Order and receive daily parts shipments
* Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock replenishment
* Organize and manage customer and service department special orders
* Audit, track, and control parts inventory
* Assist customers and service technicians with parts identification and ordering
* Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and electronic parts systems
* Stock shelves and maintain an organized, clean parts department
* Process returns, warranty parts, and vendor credits
* Work closely with the service department to ensure timely job completion
* Monitor inventory turns and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Qualifications
* Previous parts, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred
* Marine industry experience is a plus but not required
* Strong organizational and computer skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Detail-oriented with strong inventory management abilities
* Ability to lift and move parts and supplies as needed
