Real expertise is built one experience at a time, and it starts with exposure.

ICM is excited to welcome our 2026 interns who start their journey with us this week. In the next few months, these students will step into work that connects ideas, innovation and impact for a summer focused on learning, contribution and a first-hand look at how the ethanol industry is evolving.

We look forward to working with this 2026 intern class and doing our part in teaching the next generation.

Last week in Germany, we spent time with customers and partners and discussed the technologies and innovations continuing to advance industrial process operations around the world.

One of the highlights of the trip was celebrating with our partners at Flottweg during the grand opening of their new Process Center and the unveiling of a new decanter at IFAT Munich.

We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with others who share our focus on innovation and advancing process technologies.

One of the best parts of ICM? The people.

Over the last few weeks, our team stepped away from the day-to-day to connect outside the office with a variety of team-building activities. These events not only create memories but also build the trust that helps teams work through challenges, collaborate across departments and execute successful projects. This is the culture we are intentional about building.

As more ethanol facilities pursue federal tax incentives, many projects must navigate prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements to qualify for those benefits. Successfully meeting those requirements with minimal impact to project cost and timelines often depend on early coordination, documentation, and established project processes.

This summer, Project Controller Stephanie Thimmesch will take the stage at to discuss real-world implementation considerations, common challenges, and lessons learned from the field.

Join us for her presentation on Tuesday, June 2, from 1:00–2:30 p.m.

"This will be the best and biggest blessing of my life." These are the words Jamesia stated as she received the keys to her new home in a moment filled with pride, joy and opportunity.

Jamesia's home dedication marked the completion of ICM's 23rd Wichita Habitat for Humanity house and we are honored to have been a part of this milestone and celebrate alongside Jamesia and her family. Moments like this reinforce why our commitment to service matters and how we can make a difference in helping others build stability and step toward a brighter future.
