20+ years ago, the ethanol industry expanded rapidly with many plants built in a short time frame. Today, many of those plants are reaching a point where major equipment is approaching the end of its life cycle. Because replacement timelines can stretch for months or longer, more facilities are shifting from reactive repairs to long-term asset planning.

From molecular sieves to heat exchangers and more, a proactive approach helps minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.

Hot food off the grill, cold snow cones, and time to connect.

Known for keeping projects on track, our project management team stepped behind the grill today for our annual Hamburger Huddle. A tradition our team looks forward to every year, the huddle brings everyone together to celebrate the teamwork, collaboration and accomplishments we've shared so far this year.

It may be a small part of our day, but it's one that keeps us connected as a team and supporting one another in the work we do every day.

Last week, ICM was proud to serve as a silver sponsor for Rock the Block, Colwich’s annual community celebration, bringing together neighbors, friends and local businesses for a weekend of connection and local pride.

Members of our team participated in the parade and joined in the fun throughout the weekend with games, music, meals and lots of familiar faces.

Ethanol dehydration has traditionally relied on vapor-phase processes such as PSA. However, those processes are also where some of the highest energy demands occur.

Through our partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, their Membrane Dehydration System (MMDS™) introduces a liquid-phase separation approach designed to significantly reduce energy use while maintaining strong plant performance.

We appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with the MHI team last week at FEW as we continue advancing this partnership and the commercialization of this technology.
