LHPU was founded in 2011 by LHP Engineering Solutions, CEO, Dave Glass and LHPU President, Zach McClellan as a training tool for entry-level controls engineers working at LHP Engineering Solutions. Since its inception, hundreds of embedded controls engineers have attended an LHPU course offering, many of whom continue to be employed by LHP Engineering Solutions as professional embedded controls engineers. Since opening its doors to the public in 2013, LHPU has expanded training facilities to include: Columbus, IN, Pontiac, MI, and San Antonio, TX.

Today, LHPU not only trains embedded controls engineers looking to bridge the gap between education and experience, but they also provide corporate level training solutions built to meet any corporation’s unique needs and to get engineers up to speed quickly and efficiently. LHPU’s professional training programs, and six-week new-hire bootcamps will ensure engineering teams are set up for long-term success.
