OABA was proud to sponsor and volunteer at last week's Ohio Food and Farm Families Meal Pack Event!

Our team enjoyed rolling up our sleeves alongside fellow volunteers to help pack meals for families in need. It was a great opportunity to give back and support an effort that brings Ohio's agriculture and food industries together for a meaningful cause.

A big thank you to the event organizers and everyone who helped make the day a success! Kroger Ohio State - College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences

What makes OABA membership worth it?

For Nick Franks of Tyler Grain & Fertilizer Co., and current OABA Chairman, it comes down to advocacy, education and relationships that strengthen both individuals and their companies.

“If you want to protect what you’ve built, keep your team moving forward and be part of something bigger than your own operation, OABA is worth it.”

From having a voice on policy and regulatory issues to developing leadership skills through programs like the OABA Industry Conference, Nick sees membership as an opportunity to learn, connect and stay informed about the issues affecting Ohio agribusiness.

“Networking cannot be said enough. You meet the folks who actually run this industry and start building relationships that last.”

Melinda's Monthly CEO Memo:

October means harvest is in full swing across Ohio, and behind every load of grain are farmers and OABA members putting in the long hours, expertise, and teamwork that keep harvest moving.

To the teams operating grain elevators and grading grain, to the merchandisers managing markets, the drivers keeping grain moving, and the employees focused on safety and logistics...THANK YOU!

Harvest is a powerful reminder that agriculture is truly a team effort. Farmers and agribusinesses are in it together, working side by side to keep Ohio agriculture strong.

Have a safe harvest, everyone!
