So excited to help our client's dreams come true!! Beautiful homesites in a beautiful natural setting! Awesome project!
Congratulations Leyco Real Estate!
We can finally share some news about a project we have been working on for over two years. Legacy Oaks a lightly restricted, acreage subdivision of 17 lots ranging from 1.67 to 12.1 acres has been approved by the County and will be hitting the market soon. We kept this project local and we want to thank the following Colorado County citizens/companies that have had a hand in this project so far: The First State Bank in Columbus for financing, Lindsi Graham with Colorado County Farm Bureau for Insurance, Neal and Cole Zajicek and crew with Quality Fertilizer on land clearing, Susan Glithero with Baumgart Agencies on securing our road bond, Kevin Ruether with KDR contractors for our future road construction, the late David Leyendecker with Clay & Leyendecker, Inc. for initial design and engineering and James Weishuhn with Weishuhn Engineering for graciously agreeing to take over engineering with Mr. Leyendecker’s passing. We have a severe shortage of housing in our county and we hope that this subdivision will provide an option for those that have been looking. The project will increase the tax basis in this county benefiting the county and the school district including a lump sum to the entities in roll back taxes since some of the lots will no longer have an ag exemption and increasing the tax accounts to 17 accounts. Road construction will begin soon. The lots are not in the fema floodplain, some have seasonal creek frontage, some will come with ag exemption in place and the oaks are beautiful. We want to thank the county for their willingness to work with us on the first subdivision built in the county since Providence Landing was built 14 years ago. Ironically, that subdivision’s engineer was David Leyendecker and the road contractor was Kevin Ruether, as well. This was the final project designed by David Leyendecker and has brought added meaning to the name, “Legacy Oaks”. Legacy Oaks was developed and is owned by a licensed Texas broker and a licensed Texas agent.
