How we started, where we have been, and where we are going.
Our company started in 1911 as a Welding Machine Repair business, and within the decade started selling Welding Supplies and Industrial Gases. The first gas deliveries we made were in 1919.
Throughout the 20th Century we serviced the industrial base of Columbus and the rest of Central Ohio, including large customers in diversified industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Steel, and Rail. As the century wound down and the local industrial base started to weaken, we diversified into Lab Gases and Medical Gases, working with the local research institutions and universities on whatever projects that had in their pipeline.
In the 21st Century, we have continued our growth while retaining the same downtown Columbus location. Our team specializes in quick response time, technical knowledge that matches any national company, and competitive pricing.
In the next few years, we expect to open a 2nd Central Ohio location, with room to offer more services to the local industrial community, including customized welding training, gas system design, and supply chain solutions.
