PHELPS STREET GATEWAY arch made at Boardman Steel.
Something to look forward to- An improvement project to a section of North Phelps Street that includes a downtown pedestrian mall will start next month. The project would begin in March. The section of North Phelps Street is between West Federal and West Commerce streets.The pedestrian mall includes raising the street to be level with the sidewalk, and adding decorative lampposts and a gateway arch on the West Commerce Street side. Similar street improvements will be made to a small section of Phelps, north of West Commerce by Erie Terminal Place
