Job Opening: Cooling Tower Mechanics & Helpers – Ashland/Richmond, Virginia

CT/HX is looking for skilled Cooling Tower Mechanics and unskilled Helpers to help cover our work in the Virginia area. Our regional office is located in Ashland, VA, just outside of Richmond, and close to the I95, 295, and 64 corridors. Most of our work is local and in-state, but must be able to travel and work out of town on occasion. These are full time positions; travel pay and hotel expenses are paid for.

Qualifications for Cooling Tower Mechanics and Helpers are listed below

Mechanic:
5 years of cooling tower service work favorable, must have mechanical skill sets in the equipment industry and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of cooling tower component replacement is recommended. Hourly rate will depend on experience.

Helpers and General Labor:
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel out of town for work. Looking for those eager to work. General knowledge of basic hand tool and power tool operation is expected. Hourly rate will depend on work experience.

First of all, we are in this together. The health and well-being of our employees and customers is of utmost importance. We hope that everyone stays safe and healthy through this troubling time. The Morin Company, Prillaman Systems, Morin Distribution and CTHX are designated as essential businesses and will continue to operate in PA,VA, DE, MD and DC. We are open and our manufacturers are open.

We have developed an aggressive plan to adhere to the CDC's- COVID-19 Guidelines to help mitigate the spread of the virus and still be of service to our customers. We have implemented measures and procedures to ensure the welfare of our employees and customers, including:

-Practicing Social Distancing at the office and out in the field.

-Cleaning our offices multiple times a day.

-Workers that can work remotely are, but all our services are uninterrupted.

-Asking our customers to go to the help desk in the back of the building instead of entering the main building.
