We’re excited to share that our team in St. Paul, Virginia has partnered with local park staff to install new fishing line recycling containers along the water access points. These containers give a simple way to properly discard fishing line, which can make a big difference for our local environment.

Improperly discarded fishing line can remain in the environment for centuries, posing serious hazards to wildlife, boaters, and the health of our waterways.
