Exciting News at RM Speech! 💙
Our RM Speech team recently completed a full day of hands-on training as we begin our exciting new partnership with NeuroNode! We’re grateful for the opportunity to expand the access options we can offer individuals with complex communication and physical needs—and we’re excited to put this new technology to work.
So, who might benefit from NeuroNode?
NeuroNode is a wearable, wireless access option that uses EMG (muscle) signals and/or spatial movement to provide control of a communication device. It can be especially helpful for individuals who have difficulty using traditional access methods such as direct touch, switches, or eye gaze.
It may be a great option to explore for individuals with conditions such as:
🧠 ALS/MND or other progressive neurological conditions
🧑🦽 Spinal cord injuries or paralysis
💙 Cerebral palsy
🧠 Stroke or acquired brain injury
👀 Individuals who have difficulty with or fatigue from eye gaze
🔄 Individuals whose motor abilities or access needs are changing over time
One of the exciting aspects of the NeuroNode Trilogy is its multimodal approach, combining touch, eye control, and EMG/spatial control. This gives SLPs and families more flexibility to identify an access method—or combination of methods—that works best for the individual.
At RM Speech, we’re here to support you throughout the process, including questions about NeuroNode, insurance and billing, funding, device setup, and technical support.
SLPs, caregivers, and families—we’d love to hear from you! If you have questions or want to learn more about whether NeuroNode may be an appropriate access option, email us at:

We’re excited about this new partnership and the opportunity to help more individuals find a way to communicate that works for them. 💙
