We had the opportunity to hear some amazing stories about the impact Adaptive Adventures has had on participants, volunteers, and our community. It was inspiring to hear how adaptive recreation can create connection, confidence, and opportunity. 💙🧡💙🧡

Bodies change throughout a lifetime and so do Spinal Cord Injuries.......So, we make sure that your wheelchair is keeping up. 💚💙

A Wheelchair that fit perfectly the first year may not support you the same way in year three. Strength, weight, posture, and skin can all change over time, and small adjustments to your manual wheelchair’s backrest, center of gravity, and seat slope can help:

🦽Meeting Your Assistive Technology Professional:::
In the weeks or months after a Spinal Cord Injury, your body is experiencing A LOT of changes and that is exactly why wheelchair needs to be built around your body with room to adapt as things change. That’s where an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) step in. Our ATPs specialize in wheelchairs, using our knowledge to collaborate with your physical (or occupational) therapist to address your goals, home/community environments, and a seating & positioning exam to determine the best wheelchair and its features to keep you mobile.

✨How to get this rolling?
• You or your therapist contacts Westpeak Mobility to schedule a free Evaluation with our ATPs. We help guide the creation of a wheelchair that fits your body’s needs.
• Westpeak Mobility organizes all the insurance documentation from your Medical Team and submits to Insurance.
• Once we get the greenlight from insurance, Westpeak Mobility builds the wheelchair & delivers to you!
