Good Afternoon. I hope that you are staying safe and warm. I would like to say something that needs to be said this morning to all of my customers that I appreciate very much.

If you are in support of the cruelty that is going on in Minnesota, I am no longer your mechanic.
If you are in support of the injustice that is being brought on by the administration, I am no longer your mechanic.
If you are in support of the senseless murders that are being carried out by ICE, I am no longer your mechanic.
If you are in support of innocent children being used as bait and being separated from their families, I am no longer your mechanic.

This could be your mother, your sister, your father, your son, so on and so forth. Don't think because you don't fit the profile that this could not happen to you or someone you know. The horror that is going on in Minnesota could very well happen where you live. If you are in support of this tyranny, I am no longer your mechanic.

I still wish you and your family well and always will, but if you are okay with what is going on in American streets - to the people of America, I am no longer your mechanic.

I understand that I will lose business by saying this, but I do not support the people of America losing their constitutional rights, and now their lives. Morals will always mean more to me than money.

God Bless You and Yours,

Kelly "Dino" Dawson

We had a new customer call about her '18 Honda Accord this past week. She had brought it to a local big name shop where they quoted her $1700 for the repair. She called me after the first shop where I told her that that was an awfully high cost for repair in question. I told her that I would like to take a look at her car myself so that I could see what was going on with it. Customer decided to take it to a second local, big-name shop after getting off the phone with me. She called me that evening saying the second shop quoted her $2300 for initial repairs, plus other repairs that they tacked on.

Customer dropped off her vehicle with me the next day and I am happy to repair her vehicle for less than half of the cost of the first shop's quote. I trust my knowledge and experience, and I want to make sure vehicles are properly fixed for my customers, both new and existing.

It's a tough time right now for most, and money doesn't come easy for the working individual. People need their cars, and people need to keep as much money as possible to provide for their families. I am Grateful for my skills and that I can help the community in the ways that I can, for less than the big name shops. I appreciate her bringing her vehicle to me where it will be fixed properly, and she is saving herself some money as well.

To all of my customers: Thank you for the opportunity to work on your vehicles and to keep you and your families safe on the road as I provide for my own. 🀟🏼

We had a new customer bring her jeep in after multiple local shops gave her astronomical quotes to fix her jeep, and what these shops were telling her was wrong with it, wasn't aligning with what her issues at hand were. Instead of costing her thousands and thousands of dollars, we got her out the door for literally $100. On top of that, whoever had installed her brakes and rotors last had not properly tightened them up and we got that safely fixed for her as well. We are happy that her vehicle is road ready and safe and that she didn't spend thousands of dollars that she didn't need to spend. 🀟🏼

With cooler temps around the corner, here are a handful of things to be mindful of when it comes to your vehicle(s):

1. Check your battery - the colder it gets, your battery loses cranking amps. That makes it more difficult to start, and will eventually not start. Auto stores such as O'Reillys and AutoZone will check your battery as well as your starter and alternator for free. It never hurts to stop in one of these stores and have them check out your vehicle, especially if you haven't had your battery checked in a while. I have noticed that batteries are not lasting as long as they used to.
2. Antifreeze - without a proper ratio of antifreeze to water, it could freeze and damage multiple major components under the hood that hold coolant such as the radiator, heater core, or engine block.
3. Tires - Cold weather effects your tire pressure and will often cause your low tire pressure light to come on on your dash. Beyond tire pressure, it's a good thing to check the wear and tear on your tires and to see how much tread you have left on them. Bald tires are never safe, but especially when approaching winter.
4. Windshield Wipers/Windshield Washer Fluid - As temps drop, it's time to stop using the All Climate Windshield Wiper Fluid and start using the De-Icer Fluid. Not only will that help with the visibility of the front windshield, but that will prevent the Windshield Wiper Fluid Reservoir from freezing and possibly busting. When you purchase De-Icer Fluid, if your Windshield Wipers leave smears at all, that would be the perfect time to get new Windshield Wipers as well before any snowy or icy conditions.

We hope that you find these tips helpful! Please stay safe out there! 🀟🏼
